MAISONS DE JEUNES / JUGENDHAISER
Maisons de jeunes, éducateurs: if you are interested in the Nomadic Island project and would like to learn more about it, reach out to us! We offer presentations aimed at both the staff and the young people at your Maison de Jeunes / Jugendhaus in Luxembourgish, French, German, and English. We will explain the idea and the philosophy behind the project to the kids and will involve them in a participative and engaging way.
The Nomadic Island camp is open to a group of kids of different ages to take part in and work together with the artists. We are happy to collaborate with the instructors of your Maison de Jeunes. Find our pedagogical concept here.
The presentation lasts around 15 minutes

You may ask yourself why this small village of about 450 souls is called "Lasauvage" (Zowaasch in Luxembourgish)? An old legend says that the valley was inhabited by a wild woman with long red hair and red glowing eyes who would feed on raw flesh...

By participating at the Nomadic Village in 2013 (Marseille 2013 European capital of culture.), I discovered with pleasure that there are other artists for whom mobility generates the same working autonomy, as I experienced it.
If you are an artist and would be interested in being an active part in this project, head to the Artists page or contact us at email@example.com.
"We are so thrilled to get this project started an so excited to welcome the artists’ ideas to make this community come true." - Neckel Scholtus & Gianfranco Celestino
